I am the founder of and teacher at Artfull Kids, a small backyard studio created to engage young kids with one of my favorite things to do: art!​​​​

As a kid in elementary school, art class was always my favorite place. I remember it being the one class where there was no "right" answer and all that was asked of me was to explore and create. This is the joy of art!

I carried this love for art with me into my adult years and now find myself more excited than ever to get to teach it to young kids. I have three kids of my own who inspire me everyday to make art purely because it's fun and gives us a sense of accomplishment and achievement.

At Artfull Kids our goal is to introduce children ages 6-12 years to many different mediums (paint, pencils, pens, watercolor, oil pastels, crayons, etc.) and many different ways to use those mediums to allow them to develop their own style and unique artistic expression.

We will create art using the Elements of Art and Principles of Design as our guides while we explore different themes throughout the year. Think: watercolor leaf rubbings, painted paper collage forests, oil pastel landscapes, still life vases and more! Let's make some art!
